Upon graduating from Utah State University in 2001, I spent four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where I provided tax preparation and consulting services to privately held companies and their owners. Many of these companies were real estate developers and investors. This led to a position in private industry as the Tax Director of a large real estate company with more than $2 billion in assets. While there I was involved in residential and commercial rental property, real estate development, hospitality businesses (hotels and restaurants) as well as venture companies in various industries. This experience sparked an entrepreneurial spirit within me, and I continue to be involved in real estate investing to this day.
Having missed the challenges of public accounting, I eventually started my own practice but later found a home serving in the local firm environment where I draw from a great deal of practical experience in providing personalized services to my clients. This experience stems from years of serving a wide array of client types including real estate developers and investors, business owners and high net worth individuals.
Originally from Idaho, I stay actively involved in the community by serving on volunteer non-profit boards and participating in church leadership. I cherish spending time with my family, and I enjoy cooking outdoors for family, friends and neighbors. As a family we are highly involved in music, and our home is often filled with the sounds of cello, drums, piano and guitar.
